Chabad of Armenia
Chabad-Lubavitch reaches out in forgotten and far-flung locations. Even in Armenia, where there is a small, but well functioning Jewish community. The Chabad-Lubavitch emissaries have brought new life to the Jewish community of Yerevan, by reactivating the local Synagogue, by creating after school programs, holiday awareness programs and many more interesting and stimulating activities.

Chabad Lubavitch of China has centers in Beijing, Guangzhou, Hong Kong and Shanghai. Visiting guests find regular minyanim and are provided with kosher food for body and soul. Local residents enjoy their Jewish community school, Camp Gan Israel and Talmud Torah. Pre-Holiday educational workshops and other adult education programs are held regularly.

Chabad-Lubavitch set up a community in the Holy Land as early as 1777. Israel has always been a central concern of Chabad-Lubavitch and its contemporary presence in Israel reflects that vital relationship. Kfar Chabad, home to tens of thousand of Lubavitcher Chassidim, administers an all encompassing network of schools, synagogues, refugee relief centers and vocational training schools. Other major Chabad-Lubavitch communities have also become an integral part of the country's landscape, making Chabad-Lubavitch a household word throughout the land. Over two hundred and fifty outreach centers are devoted to nourishing the spiritual life of Israeli Jewry, a good deal of this activity has recently been directed to the steady influx of immigrant population. A network of hundreds of Chabad-Lubavitch day schools, high schools, yeshivas, synagogues, mikvaot, adult education programs are situated throughout the country. Chabad-Lubavitch's highly praised work with the Israeli Defense Force has become heartwarming to all.

Chabad Lubavitch of Japan is active in Kobe and Tokyo. Visiting guests find regular minyanim and are provided with kosher food for body and soul. Chabad of Kazakhstan
Ever since Chabad-Lubavitch emissaries arrived in Alma Ata, the more than 1,500 local Jews have experienced an incredible spiritual renewal and rebirth. Chabad-Lubavitch caters to the whole community, organizing adult and youth education, helping the needy with food packages and by just being there to lend a hand to all in need.

Amidst the turmoil confronting the former republics of the Soviet Union, Chabad-Lubavitch continues to be an enormous oasis of strength, hope and purpose. Throughout the seventy year communist regime, Chabad-Lubavitch emissaries clandestinely operated underground facilities covering every facet of Jewish life. The rewards of this heroism and unwavering courage and determination are just now becoming evident with the rekindling of sparks of Jewish spiritual life throughout the vast regions of the republics. After years of being denied the right to observe their people's traditions, this very large Jewish population thirsts for spiritual nourishment and knowledge. This thirst is being sated by Chabad-Lubavitch. Chabad-Lubavitch is also expanding its vast is also expanding its vast array of social welfare institutions to include soup kitchens, homeless shelters, "meals on wheels" and other programs as dictated by the needs of these tumultuous times.
Chabad of Singapore
The Chabad Shluchim to Singapore have been instrumental in revitalizing the Jewish community there, building a modern mikvah, providing adult and child education classes and assisting the many Jewish tourists with all their kosher needs.
Chabad of Thailand
The shliach serves as Chief Rabbi of Thailand and is the local shochet. In addition, he has brought the full spectrum of Chabad-Lubavitch educational and outreach programs to Bangkok. An after-school Talmud Torah and adult education programs, as well as a restaurant and bakery are among the many services provided regularly to the country's Jewish community and to the many Jewish business people that visit Thailand. A center is active in Chang Mai as well.
Chabad of Uzbekistan
Chabad-Lubavitch has emissaries in Samarkand and Tashkent, many of the local Jews are grandchildren and great-grandchildren of prisoners who were exiled to the remote Asian location. Chabad-Lubavitch has literally rebuilt Jewish life there, both communities boast a vibrant and active synagogue, as well as the regular programs and activities that every Chabad house offers.
